This is a really nice Morris Minor with all the work done. Possible part ex old bike, what have you?
It drives really well and has a few modifications to make it very usable on todays roads.
As its an historic vehicle, its free tax, not MOT required, clean air zone free (! how?) and fully comprehensive insurance only costs me £127 pa without using my no claims bonus.
Mods to make it up to date are alternator conversion, servo assisted brakes, 1275cc engine, electronic ignition, H4 headlights and pre tension seat belts (If you want to use them).
Interior is very good with later reclining seats and there is not a mark on them or the carpets.
Underside is very solid and wax oiled so it should stay that way for years.
It's been fitted with 1948 wings and front grill which make it look even more retro and whenever I park it up I get people asking to look it over and see under the bonnet.
I know you can get a Moggie that needs work for a lot less, but this one needs nothing doing at all, it really is a lovely car.
I've got a bundle of receipts and it looks like most of the work was done in 2020.
Someone put a lot of time and effort into making this a lovely car,
I'd love to keep it, but the wife and kids don't like it!!!
I may keep the car and trade in the wife and kids but that probably breaks CarAndClassic listing rules.
My main problem with it is that I have a garage full of old motor bikes and so cant fit this in. Ok for now but she does deserve to be garaged when the winter hits.
