The DBS Superleggera ‘Concorde Edition’
1 of 4 UK RHD Examples.
A special project which saw Aston Martin build 10 Concorde Edition DBS cars. Each car was matched to the tail number of an actual Concorde aircraft of which there were ten.
This particular car is G-BOAC and matched to the UK flagship Concorde Aircraft.
The remaining 6 cars were produced for delivery abroad with the tail numbers accounting for the 3 BA prototypes and the 7 production aircraft.
The project was announced in 2019 celebrating 50 years of the first flight Concorde prototype 001 and 100 years of British Airways.
Together Aston Martin Lagonda, British Airways and Aston Martin Bristol created these 10 incredible cars. Thirty two bespoke elements were added to create this amazing celebration of British engineering.
Concorde G-BOAC is very special to Manchester where she is on permanent display, the flagship aircraft that the Queen travelled on. It holds the world speed record for a commercial airliner at 1488 mph and throughout her working life laid claim to many ‘firsts’ such as being the first Concorde to land in the USA and the first airliner to achieve 4 Atlantic Crossings in one day.

Finished in Q (Special Order) Concorde White. A most striking variant.
The interior mirrors the Terence Conran designed blue leather seats fitted during Concorde’s last facelift. The seats are embossed with the distinctive Concorde Logo.
Each Concorde Edition car has the tail number of the actual Concorde it is matched to written on the lower sill.

One of the best features of this car is a specially commissioned exhaust by Aston Martin with afterburner tips. Nothing could be more fitting.

The purchase price includes a dinner for two and handover to the new owners of G-BOAC on 18th June. This will take place in Bristol onboard Concorde G-BOAF courtesy of Aston Martin Bristol and the DBS will be displayed inside the hangar with the aircraft.
For the first time G-BOAC the aircraft and G-BOAC the Aston Martin will be brought together on 5th June 2022 at the Manchester Airport Runway Visitor Park.
The Aston Martin Owners Club will also have a display in front of the hangar.
