I brought this car from a gentleman who had a collection of SL’s last year, he had kept it well, and MOT’d it which resulted in a pass with no advisories. I like my cars to be spot on and as reliable as any classic can be so went and had a lot of work done. This has included reconditioned radiator from the SL shop, a new water pump, gearbox linkage bushes, all fluids changed, a new vacuum advance valve, a new fuel accumulator, new distributor and a brand new mohair hood totalling about four thousand pounds. Since then it’s had very little use due to work and family commitments. I registered it for MOT and road tax exemption with the DVLA as it’s now at that age. The car has its original body coloured hard top and an SL Shop stand and cover.
