Description
This car has been my daily driver for about 3 years. My ownership started with a trip down to Cornwall, and the car didn't skip a beat. It has a huge service record, mostly done by the previous owner and by myself rather than by garages; the previous owner was a BMW master tech and I'm an engineer so it's had direct care. There history to back this up - including receipts and photos. The service history is extensive (see the photos) - it's over £7000 worth of history included, and much of that excludes labour. Some of the work done (with genuine BMW, Elring or Lemforder parts):
Valve stem seals
Alternator bracket gasket
Gearbox service and solenoids
Rocker cover gaskets
New alternator
New battery
Suspension refresh
Coolant system refresh
Water pump change
Vanos solenoid seals
Vacuum pump seals
LPG system service
The car is by no means mint, but with the current cost of fuel and this being LPG converted and at 70p per litre, it's an excellent way to large saloon barge ownership. I've done lots of long trips in it (Wales very recently) and usually drive it to London and Hertfordshire.
The options list is also huge - many of these are rare to find:
Heated, ventilated comfort seats front and rear - the rear seats slide and recline
Adaptive cruise
Rear iDrive controller
Rear and side blinds
Alcantara headliner
Logic7 sound system
DAB
Automatic headlights and wipers (dusk / rain sensing)
High beam assist (retrofitted by the previous owner)
Bluetooth for the phone
Dension GW500 bluetooth audio - works seamlessly with modern phones
Remote parking heater and cooler - Webasto unit. There was a small coolant leak from this so it's been bypassed but refurbishing it will get it all back up to scratch.
20" Style 149 "snowflake" alloys with Continental tyres
Sports suspension (slightly lower than standard - I believe it's on Eibach parts)
Good points
Very recently serviced (
