Fiat 127 Sport 75hp, this is the latest version produced with the 1300 engine. The car is available today, in impeccable condition of originality, always kept in the garage with just over 16, 000 kilometers to its credit. Use and maintenance booklet and service booklet available. Registered in the ASI historical register.
HISTORY OF THE MODEL:
In November 1981 comes the second series of the 127 Sport, called "75 HP" (or "Sport 5 speed", being equipped with a 5-speed gearbox) due to the power increased to 75 HP. The engine was always the four-cylinder "Brazil" but in the 1301 cc version obtained through the adoption of a longer stroke crankshaft (the same engine will be mounted a few years later on the Duna with different calibrations). The top speed was 165 km / h. As for the aesthetics, the black plastic was increased to enclose the joints between the bonnet, grille and headlights, the latter, due to the thicker plastic finishes, seem larger than they actually are. The squared pattern of the 70 HP grille was repeated with smaller squares and, at the base of the rear window, a second spoiler was added that integrates the one at the base of the roof. Other differences in the 75 HP compared to the previous model are: the door panels, better padding of the front seats, equipped with sports headrests with mesh center, the perforated accelerator, the steering wheel with leather crown and the gear lever has a new knob and stem covered by a buttoned cap. The steering wheel has the same emblem as the 70 HP. On request were metallic paint and alloy wheels. Compared to the previous model, the 75 HP turned out to be cheaper and more powerful. It was produced until December 1983 and was then replaced by the Fiat Uno Turbo.
