1966 factory convertible in Almond Green 2 owners from new has had extensive renovation carried out in 2003 by Mr Peter Morris of Colchester a specialist in restoration of the marque new floor and sills front wings suspension and brakes, adding discs to front and servo assistance engine up graded to run on unleaded new interior with hood and frame, inertia seat belts repainted rust proofed carried out to a high standard.
The car has an interesting history with much of its time traveling abroad first owner being Mr Ernest Davis MP a staunch socialist and an acquaintance of Marshall Tito of Yugoslavia traveling from just south of Notting Hill London.
Second owners were the Milburn’s using it daily in the summer and traveling to their holiday home in Dordogne France and visiting friends in Denmark and Sweden the Milburn’s have known the car since 1968 and purchased it in 1974 as far as they know the speedometer is original at 34000 miles.
Unfortunately, in 2012 Mrs Milburn became terminally ill so the car was put into storage then in 2020 it was decided to sell the car.
The car has had a major service with oils and fluids plugs points brakes stripped clean and serviced new wheel cylinders suspension checked and greased floor re waxed
This is a beautiful convertible in excellent condition has had an older restoration which has been carried out to a high standard the car is in first class running order with sensible up grades.
