description: Uk bike decalared new at first registration in the uk in june 1964. the photographs hardly do justice to how good this bike looks in the flesh. It has obviously undergone an excellent restoration fairly recently although there's not much history with the bike to sustantiate this. The clocks show only 875 miles. Judging by the mot history this is the distance covered since it was restored. The gov. uk mot history would suggest that it was restored circa. 2011 as the mileage was 39, 703 when it was mot'd in may 2011 & only 23 miles at the next mot in june 2013. whoever did the restoration obviously did an excellent job both cosmetically & mechanically. Starts easily. Runs & rides perfectly as shown in the youtube video link above. You might hear a tapping sound at the end of the video. This isn't the engine, i think it's just the drive chain vibrating against something. The gearbox is as smooth as you'll ever get in an old brit bike & works perfectly. Sounds gorgeous & attracts admiration wherever you go! The tyres, chain & sprockets are all good. The vin & engine number are clearly visible, untampered & match those shown on the current v5 logbook. Overall a beautifully restored british classic that can be ridden. A good investment too & keenly priced to sell so be quick!

tyres: Avon roadrider rear & dunlop k527 rear both in good condition.
chain & sprockets: Very good.
keys: One original keys for the ignition switch & one for the steering lock as pictured.
