Selling my beloved ‘Doris’ LHD 1965 Camper van, cream and white. I have owned this van for 5 years and it has only ever been driven in the dry and kept in garage all year round. I only drive it less than 500 miles per year, and it has been regularly serviced every single year. I have just had a new exhaust placed on it costing me over £600. Originally this van was imported by previous owner from California, and intended use was for a wedding bus, but the guy had another Splitscreen and he never ended up using this one much hence him selling it. He did the initial refurb down in penzance, and it was full resprayed and everything done. Since I’ve owned it I’ve put a rock n roll bed into it, and the cupboards. Leisure battery system, USB port in front. Van has safari front windows. Engine is 1500 standard and runs like a dream. I have standard drum brakes which work absolutely fine and there have been no engine/ mechanical modernisation such as IRS etc. she is an absolute beauty that always gets admiring glances and comments wherever I take her. One careful lady owner, that is in no rush to sell, no finance owed just selling as don’t use her as much as I used to and my work is taking me away overseas a lot over next 12 months . Please no silly offers or insults. These only go up in value, and I would love it to go to someone who will love and care for it as I have done.
