I inherited this car in 2006 and since then I have conducted the following repairs:
new radiator, heater matrix and all hoses - 2014
new clutch, head gasket as well as drums, discs and master cylinder - 2015
ignition module - 2016
starter motor - 2018
front indicators, handbrake cables - 2019
alternator, front pads, front springs, cam cover - 2020
alternator belt - 2021
front suspension arms, ball joints, clutch cable, water pump, cambelt, tensioner and downpipe - 2022
I have all MOTs from 2006. Tyres were changed in 2022.
I have the following spares: thermostat, clutch cable, oil sensor, coolant temperature sensor, ignition coil, speedometer cable, door handle, alternator belt, distributor, custom made roof rack, another ignition module (from Clio), rear wheel cylinder and original Philips radio.
Car is currently SORN, stored under tarpaulin, battery on a trickle charge.
The reason for sale is that it has developed an issue with the engine - it runs roughly and uses coolant. Oli was changed at 289k and it is still clear. I currently have no time to repair it hence the sale.
Second hand, pressure tested cylinder head from Renault Clio (same engine type E6J 700) is included in the sale. I have cleaned the cylinder head.
I would prefer for this vehicle to go another classic car enthusiast.
