This car is probably one of the finest of this model in Britain, it has won several trophies for Best In Show including one for best paintwork sponsored by a paint shop company. There are receipts for all of the work carried out by the last 2 owners and the car looks absolutely fantastic. Apart from an extensive bodywork restoration the engine and gearbox have been rebuilt, the brakes, steering and suspension overhauled, including, rear springs, dampers and steering joints, the fuel tank has been out, flushed and leak tested.
The interior is original and the car sports virtually all of the optional extras available at the time of manufacture including, overdrive, radio, heater/ demister, windscreen washers, door mirrors and full leather trim. It has been serviced regularly over the last 10 years whilst in the current owners hands and it is with this owner that the car has won all of the trophies.
The car will come with the original number plate which has been valued at £3000.
These cars were equipped with 2 tool kits, one in the front inside the passenger footwell and one in the bootlid, both are still present and complete. Underneath there is no sign of rust or deterioration and the car sits on the correct tyres for that period.
This car has to be seen to be believed, it looks fantastic and drives very well indeed. It runs happily on standard unleaded fuel without any signs of valve recession and no additives.
