Our Ford Thunderbird
The Thunderbird, chassis no. the details below, is the second year of the car from 1955 to 1957, the first generation of T-bird.
It was registered new, in Italy, on March 16, 1956. The car was registered at the "Innocenti, General Society for the Mechanical and Metallurgical Industry".
It is believed that the car was intended for the personal use of Luigi Innocenti. Son of Ferdinando, graduated in engineering in 1948, joining the family business as a technician and member of the board of directors in 1949 and then, following the hierarchy, he came in 1958 to assume the position of vice president. He became president on the death of his father in 1966 until 1971, when he decided to sell the company.
The Ford Thunderbird was therefore mainly used for "walks" and has arrived today with its original MI ****** plates.
The car is painted in the original 1956 specific turquoise color "L - Peacock Blue" and has a two-tone “Dark Peacock - White” vinyl interior.
Intended for export, with the speedometer in km, it was born equipped with the optional 312 cc engine. for 215 hp, with manual gearbox.
The car is in good general condition.
Very well preserved, the mechanics in order have been subject to maintenance and fine-tuning.
