This red Porsche 356A Convertible D is 1 of only 1331 Convertible D made.
Porsche only produced the Convertible D for a very short period between August 1958 and September 1959 and there are some key differences from the Speedster.
The following features are typical for a Convertible D compared to the Speedster.
- The windshield has been completely redesigned and a little higher
- The rear window has been enlarged
- The side windows have winding mechanisms instead of side curtains.
- Door pockets have been added to both interior door panels.
And there are some other minor differences between the Speedster and the Convertible D.
This red 1959 Porsche 356A Convertible D is simply a very rare car and a real collector's item.
