Purchased a year ago as a winter project but I just never got the time to do anything with it.
It has no V5 but there are 2 clearly visible VIN numbers on the frame so getting one shouldn't be a problem. From doing some research I believe it's a 1962 model.
The frame itself is in extremely good condition for a 60 year old bike, there is no visible rust at all and it all feels very solid.
The only things I did with the bike was turn the engine over and check for a spark, which it had. I also purchased a new swing arm as the original seemed a little thin in places.
It will make the basis from a fantastic restoration as the frame is in such good condition..
I've been told that the handlebars are from a letter model so aren't original. The previous owner cut the rear mudguard to make it more a a cafe racer style.
