A great example of a very low mileage Mazda MX5 Mk1. It is still just under 37, 000 miles.
MOT passed on 22/ 8/ 22 and valid until 16/ 9/ 23.
This car has been owned by me for 8 years and has never missed a beat. It is not an import.
But sadly the time has come to sell, as I no longer use the car very often. It has been garaged and under a cover ever since I bought it and does about 500 miles per year and only when the sun is shining. It has been washed and polished more times than it has been out on the road!
It is a totally original car with no modifications, apart from a music system which allows you to plug in an Apple iPod or run from an auxiliary device via a cable. I have also added a clock and a voltmeter. The only other non standard part is the rear screen which was cloudy when I bought it. The roof is still the original and is in excellent condition. There are some marks here and there on the bodywork - it is a car to be driven rather than a trailer queen.
I changed the oil gauge to the real gauges that was in earlier models. I also fitted a warning light kit that shows low oil pressure, low fuel or high water temperature.

I have all the MOT certificates back to 2009.
I have considerable history on the car and it has been regularly maintained, even when it wasn't necessary (what else was there to do when covid started?).
I will include the cover which can be used both indoors and outdoors. I will also include two maintenance manuals, a folder full of MX5 magazines, the service history, a diagnostics test kit and the trickle charger.
This is a back to basics classic car that is appreciating in value. It does not have power steering, ABS brakes, central locking, electric mirrors or an electric roof. What it does have is loads and loads of fun.
Test drives are welcome by prior arrangement - but you must bring your original driving licence and proof that you can drive any other vehicle (alternatively you can take out short term insurance for about £15). With no licence or no insurance, you can go for test ride but I will be driving.
