1996 Kawasaki GPZ900R A8, 29672 miles.
MOT till 19/ 08/ 2023 (i have 8 old MOT test certificates)
The bike is 90% original, i have blasted and powder coated various parts due to rust and corrosion-
Front fairing frame work top and bottom,
Various brackets under fairing,
Cooling system pipe,
Rear grab rail,
Side and centre stand,
Top yoke and handle bars,
Bar end weights,
Foot rest hangers,
4x foot rests, gear lever and rear brake lever have been vapour blasted.
Front brakes have been stripped, cleaned and painted the rebuilt with new pots, seals and pads.
I do have a kit for the rear brake calliper and will be sold with the bike.
Ive just fitted new clutch friction plates, steel clutch plates, heavy duty springs and clutch cover gasket..
Ive just serviced the bike - oil, oil filter, air filter, coolant and spark plugs.
The carbs have had new float bowl gasket’s, fuel shut off valve’s, pilot jet adjuster screw’s, spring’s, washer’s and O ring’s.
The rest of the bike is original to the best of my knowledge, the original exhaust are in good condition.
The cooling fan on this bike works, it does also have a bypass switch so the fan can be switched on before the engine temperature rises.
Remainder of oil (about 1ltr) and Haynes manual come with the bike.
The bike is 26 years old with wear marks and some scratches, there are still a few bits that could be painted or repaired/ replaced so please don’t expect a mint A1 bike, she is in good condition though.
Test rides are welcome but full payment in my hand and you need insurance please.
