A very clean and original example with low 41k mileage. The car had a full professional respray in June 2021 and looks fantastic in its classic colour combination of British Racing Green with tan leather interior. It comes complete with good service history, maintenance receipts and long MOT till May 2023 with no advisories.
Only 4 former registered keepers. The last owner was an MX5 owner’s club member and looked after the car diligently during their 10-year ownership. The car has recently had the following maintenance work done at a local garage:
- Engine service (new oil, oil filter and spark plugs and coolant)
- New water pump, cambelt and cam shaft seals
- New window wipers
- Brake fluid flush and new fluid
- Alternator and Power-steering drive belts replaced.
Service records with the car show it had a new fuel tank and clutch replaced in 2017, replacement exhaust in 2016, new front calipers, discs and pads in 2018 plus Waxoyl treatment. The car has three sets of keys plus a CD player fitted. The leather interior of the car is in excellent condition, with no rips or tears to the seats that is a common issue found on these models. The car sits on a set of lightweight BBS alloy wheels including all original centre caps.
Being a V-Special model, it comes with all its original Nardi interior trim (wooden steering wheel, gear knob, handbrake and V-Special Roadster mats). The A/ C is fully working and the car has power-steering and a V-LSD as standard. Overall, the bodywork is excellent with with no rust. Very clean sills and arches. It also includes a matching tan leather tonneau cover to complement the interior. The premium mohair soft top roof is in very good condition.
