1961 TURNER MK I 998 cc FULLY RESTORED For Sale
The prestine example we offer here was subject to a complete ground up nut and bolt rebuild and has covered just 7, 000 miles since completion. The rebuild included a full engine rebuild including being bored out to 998cc and fitting of Hepolite pistons, uprated camshaft, new pushrods, cam followers and rebuilt tappet assembly. The gearbox was also rebuilt. The Turner was also treated to a new stainless exhaust system, a set of original Turner steering arms, new temperature gauge and sender, new set of Minilite alloy wheels and full weather equipment.
The car also comes with one of the biggest history file I have seen. The folders include a full photographic record of the restoration, old green log book, old MOTs, a thick collection of magazine articles on the history of Turner cars, and a wad of copy invoices for all work carried out.
Part exchange welcome, ancient and modern funds either way.
