She drives beautifully, especially being a factory custom built car optioned with a 5 speed automatic transmission from an r129 SL instead of the usual 4 speed. If you’ve ever driven a 4 speed one you’ll know they hold gears far too long and don’t cruise at high speed well. The 5 speed just transforms this car. These cars easily seat 4 normal sized humans comfortably unlike most 2 door cabriolets. The black leather interior is in stunning shape, dual setting seats all working as they should, electric seat adjustment all working perfectly too. The drivers upper bolster was the only downside which has been reupholstered.
Travelled just 110, 000 miles across 28 years doing just under 4000 miles a year. She has a huge amount of service history, original build sheet from Mercedes showing optioned specifics, every previous mot, stamped booklet, invoices, bills, verified mileage and a documented timeline for dates, mileage and location for each visit
