Sept 84 ergo only 2 more years of tax & MOT’s. Just turned 90k miles (warranted), I’ve covered circa 3k in my 4 1/ 2 years ownership. Just 6 owners inc. myself. MOT’s going back to 98 (current 04/ 09/ 23) and history during my time. Previous owner (6 years) had the car resprayed in original red and as a minimum replaced the front discs and callipers. I’ve replaced the clutch plus cable, cam belt, water pump, radiator, 5 Yokohama tyres plus all 5 wheels refurbished at a cost of £360, HT leads plus distributor cap and rotor arm. More recently a new fuel pump, reversing light switch and super rare NOS boot release mechanism. My investment £3. 5k+. Originality, functioning period radio, dealer plates & screen sticker, one key (2 off) operates all, glass etched with reg, functioning period remote alarm! Indeed with the exception of the cassette everything works. The drive and performance are remarkable, just like the one I owned back in the day. This car will not disappoint and values are continuing to rise.
