Supplied new by Dick Lovett BMW of Swindon in May 2006 this E60 generation of M5 was the pinnacle of the 5-series range and is of course, powered by the mighty S85 series 5. 0 litre V10 engine which produces 500Bhp at 7, 750rpm driving the rear wheels via 7-speed SMG transmission with paddle shift (and automatic mode). This attractive example is finished in light metallic silver/ blue and sits upon its original 10-spoke 19” alloy wheels sitting on near new Michelin Pilot Sports on the front and brand new Michelin Pilot Sports on the rear. Inside, we find light grey leather interior, HUD (heads-up display), BMW’s i-Drive in-car entertainment with Navigation (disc in the file), climate control with AC, Power mode, transmission change speed adjustment, electric memory seats, traction control, on-board computer, multi-function steering wheel, cruise control, automatic wipers, parking sensors, tyre pressure monitoring, heated seats, heated rear seats, rear ventilation, DVD drive, electrically adjustable steering column, automatic Xenon lights and start/ stop button. The history file includes the V5C, the owner’s pack and service book recording an impressive 15 stamps inc. PDI, the last by Alexander Autos, BMW Specialist of Portsmouth in March 2022 at 86, 540 miles. Prior to that, the last stamp included transmission work carried out by Suffolk Transmission Ltd (no further documentation) in addition to servicing at 86, 197 miles in June 2020.
