Very few of the Super Minx on the road today are the convertible version and even fewer will be in such good condition. The drop top was produced for just two years between 1962 - 1964 powered by a Rootes 1600 engine.
This example is in great overall condition and stands out from the crowd with its off-white paint with red hood and interior, which is fitted with optional individual front seats. The chrome work, paint and hood are all in good order, as is the interior. The only aftermarket fittings being the slightly wider Ford wheels that really finish the look of this car. ANV 178A has had regular MOT’s carried out, of which the last was completed in May this year with only two advisories. According to its digital history, it has covered less than 1000 miles since 2011. The seller reports that the car drives smoothly and is ready to be enjoyed by its new owner. The sale includes a current V5C document as well as a folder of history. A fantastic weekend car that can be enjoyed at local classic car shows.
