Description
An interesting bicycle dating from probably the early 1920's. Made by Singer Cycles of Coventry; with a very large chain wheel and a sloping top tube to the frame giving the bicycle a very sporty look. The frame appears to have a mix of original paintwork and later restoration and some marking to the tubes on the rear saddle stay, indicating the previous fitting of a rear carrier. Single speed with 26" inch westwood rim wheels and a 23" frame. Rod brakes are fitted and a it has a bit of a mix of later fittings with original parts. The whole bicycle has been in storage for some time and would benefit from either a good service or probably a sympathetic restoration. But a good basis for a vintage and sporting roadster bicycle made by a rare manufacturer.
