1986 FZX 700,
I have had this bike about 5 years I think and loved it but it is not getting the care it should because in my postcode of London they charge 12 pounds a day to ride it.
To start, the engine is excellent and the bike is very cool & over-engineered
japanese craftsmanship with high HP for cc low end.
Even when the bike sits for a month or so it just starts up great.
It's a biker's bike.
Things it will need, front suspension springs, you can get for about 60 but $140 will get you a nice modern progressive set and that is what would do.
Exhaust needs a repair kit, blowing from base from where water runs down and someone did a poor job patching up but you could repair it and I ride it how it is.
Putting it on sorn today, Mot ran out but I could get another one but I wouldn't use the bike in an emergency brake situation with the front suspension springs worn out & safety first.
