Outstanding Aston Martin DB4, originally LHD, delivered new to the US in 1962 to Sir S. Salant, L. I. New York. Only had 3 owners.
The DB4C / 1069 / L is a Series IV DHC convertible and has been recently restored to its original colour, the very elegant Dubonnet Rosso Metallic combined with a Fawn leather interior. The engine 370/ 943 is the original full “matching numbers” engine , converted to “SS” Special Serie specifications in its early life. The car has an original 4-speed gearbox with overdrive and a new power steering.
A fortune has been spent on its restoration (expert report available on request). The vehicle comes with an ultra rare factory hardtop that was recently restored. The car is featured with Borrani wheels, and Michelin tires in “as new” state. As part of the restoration, the engine got a major service.
Only 14 Aston Martin DB4C Serie IV were built Left-Hand-Drive, and this one comes with its very rare factory hardtop. Unique investment opportunity.
