My much loved Austin A35 van is up for sale, reluctantly. I am moving to Scotland and there isn't a place for my beloved Austin 'Ernie' up north. I bought the van when I was 21 and have meticulously gone over it from top to bottom to bring it up to scratch.
Preventative bodywork undertaken and resprayed 2019 into British Railways 'Blood & Custard' (only one in the country!), colour matched to original swatches (I used to work on the railways). Reconditioned 1098cc engine, reconditioned fuel pump, stainless steel custom exhaust, new tyres, powder coated rims, MG Midget front discs (it stops!) and rear axle/ diff. 1098cc engine, head gasket replaced 2020, hardened head, new plugs, leads & coil... To name but a few specialities.
Sale includes a fair amount of spares including a 948cc engine and old paraphernalia and a photographic record of all work done. Currently in dry storage, which can be made available to a new buyer for a period of time.
