My 1947 Fiat 1100 Berlina participated in the 1949 Mille Miglia in the Categoria Turismo with owner Piero Zaini and friend Piero Moscatelli with car number 203 and finished 120th.
The Fiat has a Registro Certificate book stating it is a 1947 Fiat 1100 Berlina with original 1947 Milan registration number MI 110267 and co-efficiency of 1. 30 which is important for good race classification.

I have participated with the 1947 Fiat 1100 Berlina in 2020 Mille Miglia with car number 122 and 2022 there were 425 participants, only 80 were genuine period cars. We had car number 136, started within the first hour, finished 190th. We clocked in all the timing sectors over the 4 days. Not experts at the average speed trials and time trials so is very possible to finish well in top 100!
The Fiat 1100 was a popular car of the people. So during the Mille Miglia we received more attention, claps and waves from the public by the side of the road than the faster and more expensive participants.
