particularly rare example of the early Bentley Mulsanne Turbo, being the long wheelbase version, of which only a few were produced. Benefiting from the extra four inches of rear legroom in what is essentially a Rolls-Royce Silver Spur body, this car enabled passengers to experience the new turbocharged power in even more luxury that the standard wheelbase car. Further enhancing this luxury, this particular example was ordered with factory options to include rear picnic tables, rear in car telephone and custom walnut drinks cabinets. The car was purchased new via Jack Barclay’s of London on the 19th June 1985 by Mr Stanley Tollman, owner of the famous Red Carnation Hotel Group. The car was always chauffeur driven and resided at the Chesterfield Hotel Mayfair until being shipped to one of Mr Tollman’s hotels on the Channel Island of Guernsey for his and his wife’s use when visiting the Island. The car has remained in Mr Tollman’s ownership on Guernsey ever since. Having now covered a total of 37, 335 miles from new, the car has been maintained by Main agents and specialists and is presented in outstanding condition throughout as one would expect from such a low mileage, one owner car. It is almost certainly the finest example of this extremely rare and highly desirable model in existence and would be a worthy addition to any collection.
