Now registered in my name, this C30 belonged to my late brother Kev who we lost in June this year.
I've driven it a few times now and it rides, steers and stops very well. It sounds fantastic and really puts a smile on your face but I don't know a great deal about it other than I'm told its of 1980/ 81 vintage, originally sold to the US Army and registered in the UK around 1988.
Overall the truck is very solid throughout having been thoroughly rebuilt & repainted in 2011, the interior has been re-trimmed and it's been converted to a 307 (5. 0) V8 running a Holley carb so it's a genuinely good example. From posting an image of the truck on a UK 'Chevy Square Body' Facebook site, Kev ended up in touch with Tim who completed the rebuild and engine installation and for the right buyer, that contact can be provided.
As a 40 year old vehicle, it’s always going to be a work in progress so please feel free to ask and I'll confirm what I've noticed so far.
