1994 ESPRIT S4 - LOW MILEAGE, DOCUMENTED HISTORY, ALL MOT's For Sale

A Lotus Esprit S4 in the best colour combination of Calypso Red with black leather and red piping. Originally supplied to the Isle of Man and imported to the mainland in 2003, hence the very late, for an S4, registration number.

At this point, the car passed to a very capable owner, who undertook servicing himself, with bills present to show some of the work completed over the years. A digital workshop manual is also incuded.

When I acquired HF03 BCE, I drove it to my friends (and stars of Bangers & Cash: Restoring Classics – see Series 1; Episode 6) at South West Lotus Centre to investigate a couple of concerns with the engine. The end result is a fully rebuilt engine with a new exhaust manifold. An ABS refurbishment and an air conditioning re-charge were completed as well. The invoice is on file with the rest of the service history, showing the comprehensive work undertaken to return this vehicle to a tip-top condition.

I have since driven the vehicle a couple of hundred miles and I can confirm that it now wants for nothing and is ready to enjoy by its’ new owner.

The aforementioned service book, most MOT certificates, service invoices and two keys are present. I have undertaken an HPI check that shows no adverse information; a copy is on file for the benefit of the next owner. The current MOT certificate (no advisories) is valid until May 2023. There is also a Certificate of Conformity present, which will make the process of registering in another country easier, if required.

The S4 represented a huge leap forward for the Esprit, with power assisted steering, wider opening doors, more comfortable seats and an exterior-styling refresh. This low mileage example is surely one of the best available, in the best colour combination, and is absolutely ready to go!
