Description
Owing to living in the ULEZ and difficulties in parking in Bristol, Gertrude is for sale.
She is a VW T25, with Passat turbo diesel engine. She has been on numerous adventures with us - she is equally happy cruising up mountains in the Pyrenees, long road trips across Europe, or squeezing down winding country lanes throughout the UK.
Cooker, sink, external water tank & pump, fridge, electric hook up, solar panel, leisure battery.
Rust & Canvas;
The van is solid and largely rust free.
- The lower panels & underside of the van has been sprayed with Raptor, to protect against rust (they were in a good condition before - see pictures).
- There is some rust in the seams. It was treated by a previous owner.
The canvas has holes, due to use. We've patched it. It's still weather tight and has kept use dry / out of the wind.
