Ex Liberace, Lincoln Continental MkV Bill Blass limited edition
Bought new by Liberace from the Las Vegas Lincoln dealer Bill Hayden in 1979 when brand new, it was ordered with many options, inc a moon roof, special wheel trims, leather roof covering rather than the fake cabriolet top, he kept the car until his death in 1987, it was his main driver at his Palm Springs house.
After his death it was sold as one of the lots at a special Liberace auction held by Sothebys in Hollywood
The car was purchased by the daily star newspaper and shipped to the uk, it was subsequently given away as a prize in a competition held by the Daily Star.
In 2015 it was re exported back to Las Vegas by its then owner, it has since been sold and returned to the uk in 2022 and has mostly been stored during this period.
It starts and sounds great, drives and stops but is in need of either re commisioning or restoration, it is extremely good underneath, there are a few small areas of rust coming through in places the worst is the bonnet but that would easily repair, it will not need any new panels, all the electrics seem to work even the electric quarter lights and the Cartier clock in the dash is still working fine
There is lots of information about this car on the internet
