This has been our own truck and has proved to be ultra reliable, give’s an excellent MPG and is very relaxing to drive a long distance or round town with its full auto gearbox.
Unlike most other sellers of these style of 3500kg trucks we are very happy to talk about its carrying capacity, on a digital weigh bridge with a driver, a full tank of fuel, straps, coats and equipment it weighs 2100kg leaving a load capacity of 1400kg (spare wheel not included)
The full width ally body measures 4. 3m x 2. 1m with 6 lashing points bolted on the edges and stow away ally ramps that slide in behind the number plate. There is a heavy duty winch mounted at the front with a wired remote, its works well but never used by ourselves.
The truck is an ex-supermarket delivery vehicle, later converted to a beavertail, it has a very handy walk through cab with a flip up passenger seat, giving loads of floor / storage space.
It has cruise control with speed limiter, elec windows, remote central locking, Bluetooth stereo with phone and steering wheel controls and as already mentioned the super easy to drive fully automatic box, it drives exactly the same loaded or empty, doesn’t lose power on hills and pulls like a train.
It has covered 188k miles, it’s the 2. 2CDi which is renowned for easily doing huge mileages. I was a bit dubious when I bought it because of the miles, but I needn’t have worried, drives like new. No AdBlue on this model and we get about 35mpg on a run. MOT until next June.
