Rover 114 Cabriolet with approx 11, 500 miles on the clock!
Started life as a hire car on Jersey and bought by me in 1999/ 2000 .
It was serviced by a Rover Dealer until they ceased to exist.
It sat in my mothers garage until about 2 years ago when she became typically awkward and decided it was in her way (despite never using her garage).
I had 4 new tyres put on it and had a the head gasket replaced as a precaution. It was completely checked over and given an MOT. The garage guys couldn't believe its condition.
I moved to Greece and the thing was supposed to be transported for me. But I was badly let down so its been sat under a cover at a friends house ever since.
I keep meaning to drive it here but never get around to it. I am now getting nervous that its sat outside and has been for 2 years.
I did have it re-MOT'd after a year but I haven't put my friend to further trouble in having it done again. This does not mean that it is an MOT failure.
