The 6 series Gran Coupe is one of the most handsome cars of its generation, with superb styling, road presence and ultra-high levels of comfort. With the 650i, BMW matched performance to looks, with a 4. 4 litre V8 twin turbo power plant (N63) delivering 444bhp and a colossal 650 NM of torque, making a 0-60 time of just over 4 seconds – in a luxury four door saloon with enough boot room to satisfy the most space hungry passengers. The 8-speed auto box marries perfectly to the silky-smooth power delivery, with sports and eco modes making the ‘6 Gran Coupe hugely flexible, suiting any driving style or environment.
The F06 650i Gran Coupe may well be one of the best kept secrets of the BMW range from the late 2010s, with looks that are amazingly current – see an 8 series (the replacement for the 6) coming towards you and you’ll be hard pushed to spot the difference.
