Description

McNamara Racing Cars was created by Francis McNamara, an expatriate American who was based in Germany. During its short lifetime his company employed such notables as Gustav Brunner and Bob Dance. They produced a small range of single seaters ranging from Formula Vee up to Indy Cars, modified and ran touring cars and also re-engineered Mario Andretti’s March 701. Niki Lauda was a works driver for McNamara in F3, and Helmut Marko raced one of their modified Camaros.

This lovely example has been fully rebuilt, with the chassis completely stripped and re coated, new rod ends, wishbones and hoses. It has covered zero miles since the engine was rebuilt by Roy Fellows and the gearbox rebuilt by Tony Wilson. Fitted with recent Weller wheels.

Complete with an HSCC Vehicle Identity Form and MSUK Log Book, and a small spares package which includes a nosecone and mould, and a set of wheels and tyres.

A very rare and fresh car offering tremendous value for money as a comparatively low cost entry into the hugely popular Historic Formula Ford series or classic speed events.
