Selling my '97 Midget II manual.
This is a very rare and quirky car that has been imported from Japan, as it was only ever sold there.
One of the small production cars ever made and probably the smallest 4 wheeled pickup.
Mid engine 660cc 3 cylinder, rear wheel drive, manual gearbox and a single seat with the driving dynamics of a shopping cart: its great fun!
Was kind of a barn find as she sat for around 12 years unused by previous owner.
With the fuel system refreshed it runs like a dream now. Perfect lambda reading at idle but running rich under throttle so could do with tweaking the carb.
Paint is pretty sad and would get a repaint in an ideal world. Exhaust is quite rusty but not blowing and underside is good.
I have the missing OEM mirror in a box.
A/ C is deactivated it seems, I assume during import as is often the case on JDM cars.
Car also needs the fan switch replacing or bypassing to earth.
