This particular example has been kept as new, in a storage bubble, having covered only 363 miles from new.
In 2016 when this very special edition was launched, it caused quiet a fuss. A stripped out, more powerful Gti, this Clubsport S was the fastest and most powerful Gti by a long way, perfect way to celebrate 40 years of the Gold Gti.
The Golf GTI Clubsport S posted a 7 min 47 second lap around the Nuremburg circuit in December 2016 – a blistering time on a par with cars like the 997 Porsche 911 GT3 RS, Lamborghini Murcielago and BMW M3 GTS.
Only available in 3 colours, this one looks amazing finished in ‘Deep Black Pearl Effect’ .
This example has the only factory extra option available, air conditioning.
