This Lotus Single Seater Racing Car has been fully restored by known specialists. Chassis rejigged, repainted and major components supplied by Peter Denty @ Peter Denty Racing. Gearbox 5 speed Hewland new by Mark Bailey @ Mark Bailey Racing. Engine ( Believed all steel) with New Omega Pistons/ Vernier Timing Gears etc, with Brett Simms race rally head, Brett Simms cams producing up to 160 bhp, Engine. Fully reconditioned period Weber 45's with brand new dry sump system. Twin plate clutch, lightened fly wheel etc. New Revolution wheels with new Avon cut slicks. New and modified later type wider body work and split nose cone to make it easier to remove body panels. All new suspension, brake lines, brakes overhauled, new drive shafts, suspension and couplings. Needs setting up and ready to race. Every component is either new or has been refurbished. The car is set up for hill climbs but could be converted back to full FF specification if required. The engine alone is £15K and £6K for the gearbox. The car comes with original FF 1600 cross flow dry sump engine and wheels and spares. The car has cost in excess of £40K and is a snip at the asking price. It would be impossible to restore the car to this specification for this money.
