This 3000m has been lovingly fully restored by the current owner over the last 10 years, making it the prize winning vehicle it is today. Recent accolades include the "Trevor Wilkinson Trophy" for best restoration of a TVR, finalist in the Lancaster Insurance "Pride of Ownership" Award at the NEC Classic Car Show & a recent appearance on the "Maguires Show Case" stand at the NEC.
The coachwork is show standard, finished in unmarked Ferrari Grigio Titanium over Old English White sporting a subtle Crimson Starmist pin stripe. The car rides on polished Wolfrace alloy wheels. The interior is trimmed in Ingleston black hide with red piping to the seats and black carpets. The bespoke dash is Mercedes black/ grey burr veneer.
Works carried out during the restoration include a full body off chassis refurb, full repaint, full interior retrim, new bespoke wiring loom and dash. The Ford V6 was also fully rebuilt with a 9. 5:1 compression ratio, unleaded cylinder heads, alloy timing gear, lightened flywheel, gas flowed inlet manifold etc etc
The car is a 1979 registered model, making it both Tax & MOT exempt.
