Founded in 1947 in Blackpool, England, by Trevor Wilkinson, TVR quickly became one of the boldest British car manufacturers. Specialising in light and powerful cars, the marque has built a unique reputation: that of a passionate craftsman refusing standardisation. The name “TVR” comes from the three consonants of the founder TreVoR’s forename.
TVR distinguished itself with a radical approach to performance: powerful engines, tubular chassis and glass-fibre bodies.
Produced between 1972 and 1979, the TVR 3000 M perfectly embodies this philosophy. It is powered by a Ford ESSEX V6 3. 0-litre engine, developing around 142 bhp at 5, 000 rpm. Its performance, playful handling and refined design make it a sports car as rare as it is desirable.

The specimen on offer was imported from the Netherlands in 2015 by an enthusiast. It features left-hand drive.
Since then, a refresh and improvements have been made to fully enjoy this little sports car.

The chassis is in good condition and shows no corrosion.
The running gear has been completely overhauled with the installation of new dampers and recent tyres.
The braking system has been completely revised: discs, pads, calipers, drums, master cylinder.
The cooling circuit has been optimised for trouble-free use with the installation of electric fans, an expansion tank optimisation and an 82°C thermostat.
The mechanicals, regularly maintained by enthusiasts, will please you with their sound and readiness.
A few improvements have been made to boost reliability: electronic ignition, electric fuel pump, full stainless steel exhaust system, installation of a fuse box, etc…
