We are very pleased to offer a super rare 1991 Rover Mini Cooper finished in British racing green with a contrasting white roof and bonnet stripes. Carb fed Coopers are very sought after especially in standard factory spec. Rover relaunched the Cooper after a long waited 20 year gap in 1990 and they were an instant sales success. Very quickly after the relaunch the carb was replaced for a fuel injection system making these early cars the last true carb fed Coopers. Many were modified and had hard lives so finding a low mileage example is a great find. This Cooper has spent its life in sunny Jersey and was imported in 2022. It has only covered 51k in 32 years and is accompanied some service history. It benefits from recent expenditure and is very well presented.
On the road this Cooper drives as it should do and is great fun. The 1275 engine is both smooth and responsive and offers easy to use power, this is a very easy Mini to drive. The gearbox is precise and the handling is fantastic. It will certainly make you smile. It also has servo operated disc brakes and rear belts. The true Cooper driving experience is on offer.
The interior is all original with Crayon trim seats, full length walnut dash with magnolia dials, Cooper leather steering wheel and the original Rover cassette player. The carpets, seats and roof liner are all very well preserved and inside this Mini has a nice low mileage feel.
The Mini has a very solid shell . It has the correct vented sills, untouched boot floor and solid floor pans. . The subframes are in very good condition, this Mini benefits from being cared for throughout its life. The paintwork is very well presented and belies its 32 year vintage. This is a good looking Mini Cooper.
The Mini is fully serviced, checked and driven and has near full MOT so is ready to go and be driven and enjoyed.
