Following the incredible recent sale of a Ford Sierra Cosworth RS500 for £600, 000, Fairmont Sports and Classics have the pleasure in offering this Sierra XR4i, a much rarer car to find especially in this condition.
This is a real one-off example and the saying 'finding another' is ever so appropriate. We believe it to be highly original in its bodywork and paint, having only a couple of minor imperfections that can be easily fix for a customer or for the discerning collector would be best left alone.
The interior is exceptional with no marks, cracks or tears anywhere to be seen. Best yet, it drives superbly well. On driving old Ford’s regularly they usually squeak and creek but not this car. It feels and drives like it’s only a couple of years old.
With low ownership of 4 keepers, a huge pile of Ford leaflets, brochure, Service Book and documents including original invoice showing options of Sun Roof, Black Paint and Tinted Glass, Service invoices, most MOT’s and more.
Less than 1500 Miles’s ago in 2019 a full major Service was carried out at which time the clutch was renewed along with front and rear shock absorbers.
Cosworth’s seem plentiful these days but we hardly ever come across a high uality XR4i’s like this. We truly believe that the first to view and drive will buy this car. It really could be your everyday transport qualifying to be ULEZ exempt within 12 months.
