The limited-production Screamin’ Eagle Ultra Classic Electra Glide was developed by Harley-Davidson’s exclusive Custom Vehicle Operation division. In a Screamin’ Eagle fashion, Harley-Davidson’s Twin Cam engine was revised to a massive 1. 8lt capacity, the largest ever offered by the factory, to produce 141 Nm of torque to amply propel this nearly haft-ton Electra Glide tourer. A matching braking power was achieved via 4-piston front and rear calipers and a Delphi developed ABS, the first one ever fitted in a Harley-Davidson. Additional technology upgrades such as Throttle by Wire and Isolated Drive System were fitted discreetly with no toll on the vehicle’s design. Under special CVO-Calibre partnership the body would receive an exclusive paint scheme applied by hand to complement an extensive yet select series of chrome plated parts as per Harley-Davidson’s styling tradition. Rider and passenger comfort was also addressed via every conceivable option available ranging from a six-gallon fuel tank to cruising electronics, seating position, heating seats and grips, air-deflection, luggage space, sound system with nav and CB, power locking, remote garage door opener and a smart alarm system.
The Screamin’ Eagle Ultra Classic Electra Glide offered was finished in Copper Canyon with Stardust Silver and assembled in 2008 at York CVO’s plant to become part of a private Harley-Davidson collection. With only 1283 km since it left the factory, it presents in an unparalleled preserved condition throughout and offered separately or as part of a Screamin’ Eagle collection.
