Chevrolet Corvette Sting Ray C2 cabriolet 1964
Our Sting Ray was first registered in the USA in 1964. The number of previous owners in the USA could not be completely clarified. We assume there were only 2 previous owners. In 2012, this Sting Ray was restored "frame-off" by a Corvette specialist in the USA and received a newly built big-block engine with 7 litres during the restoration. In addition, a rebuilt Tremec gearbox, ceramic-coated headers, Edelbrock intake manifold, Holley carburettor, aluminium valve cover, Concept 1 servo pump, aluminium radiator, brake power adjustment, new tyres were fitted, as well as a complete overhaul of the chassis, repainting of the entire body, reworking of the interior, laying of new carpets and fitting of a new soft top. Also on board are the alloy wheels with central locking, which are available at extra cost. 544 Nm press on the reinforced crankshaft and require a very sensitive throttle foot, otherwise the wheels will inevitably spin even in 3rd gear. Just starting the engine gives you goose bumps. The sound experience is simply indescribable.
In 2013, the Corvette was sold by a specialist in England through us to an important collection in Germany. Since then, the German collector has driven this Corvette a maximum of 1000 km. Maintenance and pending MOT preparations were carried out by us during this time. Now this very well maintained Sting Ray Convertible is coming back on the market due to a change in the collection.
