EXTERIOR
This is without doubt the cleanest, most original Mk1 TT we’ve ever seen and, having driven just 16k miles in the hands of only one meticulous lady owner, we’re confident that it’s the finest 225hp coupe available today. The paintwork is exceptional with a deep, even lustre and quite remarkably it appears original throughout. The car is arrow-straight along both sides and apart from a couple of very light chips on the front bumper and low down on the sills everything is first-rate. Crystal clear headlights, immaculate grilles, perfect rubber seals, and absolutely no corrosion or bubbling. The car has never been taken out in the rain and has always been garaged to keep it looking fresh. It's not every day we're blown away by the condition of a car when it first arrives with us on site, but that was certainly the case when we took delivery of this cossetted example.

INTERIOR
The as-new condition continues inside. The original Nappa leather is the finest we’ve seen of any car of this age, remaining perfectly soft and supple with the same shine-free finish as when it left the factory back in 2004. There are no scrapes on the door sill trims or rubbers, and the driver’s bolster is barely even wrinkled. The steering wheel is also factory-fresh, again with a shine-free texture, and of course it’s free from any ring marks or damage. Other commonly worn items such as the gear knob and carpets are also in remarkably fine order. Glancing across the dash all the plastics and switchgear are free from scratches, and there are no dead pixels on the driver’s LCD display (a common TT issue). The rear seats don’t appear to have ever been sat in and the boot area is pristine.

ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
Reading through the history file it’s clear this TT has been extremely well maintained from new. The service booklet is fully stamped at close mileage intervals with 11 entries including 3 timing belt changes. The first 7 services were carried out by the original supplying Audi dealer, Newcastle Audi, and the next 4 by the owner’s trusted local garage. The last service was completed in March 2022 at 16, 073 miles and the most recent timing belt change was in March 2021 at 15, 940 miles.

Lifting the bonnet the engine bay is amazingly well preserved, presenting in excellent original condition all perfectly in line with the low mileage of 16k. Being really picky there are some water marks on the smooth part of the engine cover but apart from that the plastics are spot-on. As to be expected there are no signs of any corrosion, damage, or previous poor repair.

WHEELS, TYRES AND BRAKES
All four of the wheels present in excellent condition with absolutely no unsightly kerb marking to report; the original Audi centre caps are also pristine and free from damage. The wheels are wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport tyres all round with plenty of tread left at each corner. The brakes have also been checked and remain in fine operational condition.

HISTORY FILE
First registered in April 2004 and supplied new by Newcastle Audi, this surely unrepeatable example has driven only 16, 085 miles in the hands of one very careful lady owner. The accompanying history file is complete with a raft of supplying dealer invoices, every MOT certificate, the service booklet with 11 stamps (detailed below), original TT brochures and literature, the original bill of sale and PDI check sheet, spare keys, and even an unopened tin of mints from the supplying Audi dealer.
