Description
One of only 317 right hand drive manual cars produced. This is a very early matching numbers example being the 12th car built to customer specification. Records on file state that the vehicle was extensively restored mechanically by a very well regarded Aston Martin specialist about 20 years ago. These works included a bare block engine rebuild, gearbox strip and rebuild and brake overhaul. The vehicle has seen little use since as for many of the succeeding years it has been part of a large private collection. A thorough recommissioning included 5 new tyres, new battery, spark plug leads and distributor cap, a major service and the changing of all fluids, filters etc. Very few miles have been covered since. The car runs and drives well with excellent oil pressure. Immaculate Celeste Blue coachwork, sympathetically restored Blue Vaumol leather trim with lovely patina. Many thousands of pounds have been spent during my ownership on maintenance, restoration and improvements, all invoices and photographic records available on file. Genuine reason for reluctant sale. A lesser value classic may be considered in part exchange as long as I am heading in the desired direction financially. Must be sold absolutely no sensible offer refused.
