Austin 7 Ruby 1934
Presented in Black over Royal Blue with Squadron Blue leather. This was one of the very first “New / Ruby” Austin 7’s built. She was ordered as a Delux model with rear privacy blind, internal light, sunshine roof and rear fold away luggage rack.
She was delivered to her first owner in Shropshire in the Autumn of 1934. He retained this little Austin for over 25 years, at the age of 80 he gave up driving and it was acquired by a friends son also in Shropshire in 1959 who kept it for 27 years before selling it when he was also in his 80s, to a gentleman in Sussex in 1986 who had the vehicle restored in the early 1990s with an extensive photographic record. She was subsequently purchased by a titled gentleman who retained this little Austin for over 24 years!
This is a charming museum quality Ruby with an extensive documented history from new documenting is life and unusually low ownership that retains its original colours, registration number, original log book, tool kit and works specification. That has driven from Sussex to Cheshire 290 miles non stop without issue.
Full log book MOT test and road tax exempt, however it has been freshly MOT tested.
