For sale for today only before being put into storage until the autumn.
Bought from the previous owner who owned the car since the mid 80’s. He was the second owner of the car from new, and spent 30 years restoring it. He did a complete body off restoration (for which I have photos) but tried to keep as much of the car as original as possible. I believe the car to have matching numbers, the original interior (the drivers seat has wear and covered in upholstery tape) original number plate, and original chrome. Originally black but is now blue over black, and has been fitted with a later dynamo. I have the original fan, pulley and dynamo (not working) which are included in the sale, along with books and some parts. Recored radiator fitted last month (original core radiator included in the sale) flasing semaphores, new rad hoses and bottom elbow, coil, new plugs and leads, speedo cable, new 12 volt battery all fitted. Spare petrol pump with rebuild kit, core plugs, various distributor parts, wheel nuts, track rod end, and dipping headlight kit included. No sign of any rust anywhere on the car, and is very solid underneath. The clutch pedal vibrates slightly, I've been advised that the toggle arms need adjustemt. The clutch operates well other than that, and doesn't drag when changing gear. It jumps out of first gear, and the petrol pump casting has had a makeshift repair. The pump does still work, but a replacement pump and rebuild kit are included in the sale. Was on Bangers and Cash recently, and used for a TV movie earlier this year. The price is what I paid, but with the spares and work carried out the car currently owes me over £8k.
I have tried to give an accurate description of the cars condition, but I'm not an expert or a professional mechanic.

I'm amazed at the amount of enquiries I've had, who said prewar cars were no longer popular! Will only be available for sale until 30th March before it goes back into storage until October due to my work.
