Description
1955 BSA B31 350cc. Bike is in very good condition and runs well. Was authentically restored and rebuilt in early 90’s to a very high standard, as the pictures show. Has an age-related number and current V5C. Present owner since 2009.
Hardly used due to lack of time, so just taking up space in garage. Taken out mainly for Vintage Shows and the occasional road run.
Thorspark electronic ignition fitted so no magneto problems and easy starting. This ignition fits inside the original magneto, so still looks proper BSA. Had new piston, valves and guides fitted about 5 years ago by well-known BSA specialist Steve Tonkin - was smoking a bit before this refurbishment. Also is a proper (and best!) BSA colour - black. The paintwork is excellent and has a great sheen.
Everything works: Lights, brake light, horn, speedo.
Comes complete with Haynes Workshop Manual that has handwritten notes from the original restorer. Old MOT Certs also included.
