Description
This Le Mans short chassis, H3/ 301/ S, was the official Aston Martin show car at the 1933 London Olympia Motor Show. In January 1934 this particular car was subject of a road test by the leading car magazin ‚Brooklands‘. Later in 1934 it competed in the Alpine Trail and Glacier Cup. It is listed in the Aston Martin register.
In period H3/ 301/ S was equipped with a more powerfull engine using his 1. 5 cylinder head. Since 1995 H3/ 301/ S stays with the same family. The owner used this car during all the years with joy and sucess in different reguarity race events and also for touring around the countryside.
In 1997/ 1998 it was undergoing a complete restoration at Ecurie Bertelli, a large file of documentation, invoices and pictures belong to the car. Today it presents still in the same outstanding condition. Currently a comprehensive service was done.
